    Graphic Designer (Consultant)

    Project Overview and Role

    • Data for Implementation (Data.FI) is a multi-year global project funded by the United States government (USG) and implemented by Palladium.
    • Data.FI is designed to strengthen health information systems, enhance data use, and support evidence-based decision-making to improve health outcomes, particularly in the areas of HIV, tuberculosis (TB), COVID-19, and other priority health conditions.
    • In Nigeria, Data.FI serves as USG’s flagship data and digital health project, working in close collaboration with government stakeholders at both federal and state levels. 

    Purpose of Position 

    • Palladium is seeking to employ the services of a Graphic Designer with adequate experience in illustrations, layouts, and other visual assets.
    • The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Communications team to design and develop content ensuring they are visually appealing and user-friendly for the Data.FI Project.
    • This role will involve creating high-quality content that effectively communicates the Data.FI project initiative, and activities in line with brand guidelines and message.
    • The Graphic Designer will report to the Senior Communications Officer. 

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Design and produce visually appealing graphics, including banners, posters, flyers, and other visibility materials, that support project objectives.
    • Ensure all design outputs are user-friendly and optimized for various formats (web, mobile, reports, newsletters, and event materials).
    • Develop high-quality visual content for the Data.FI website, social media platforms, reports, and newsletters.
    • Stay updated on modern design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance content quality.
    • Support the development and implementation of a content calendar in collaboration with the Communications team.
    • Edit and proofread design work to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
    • Create design concepts and drafts for review, adjusting based on team feedback.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams the business analyst, development, and communications to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
    • Clearly communicate design and content concepts clearly to team members.
    • Provide creative input on communication products and initiatives to ensure alignment with design and content strategies.

    Required Qualifications

    • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and other relevant design software.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating previous design work (digital, print, infographics, layouts).
    • A certification in graphic design will be an added advantage.
