Graphic Designer at Cavisa Design

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are an emerging name in the furniture making, interior and spacial management subsector. We are currently hiring for a creative graphics designer who has worked in the furniture/interior designs space for upward of two years experience. The ideal candidates must be up-to-date on current trends to interpret design briefs into high impact visuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, Interprete and translate designs and visualisation to produce expected end product.
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Corel Draw etc.)
• Create layouts including selection of colours, images, typefaces and style to enhance the readability of text and image to help deliver the message.
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects with design specifications.

 Qualification: 

• Bachelor's Degree in graphic arts, design communication or related field.
• NYSC discharge certificate

Required Skills

• 2 years of experience in graphic design in the wood and furniture industry is required.
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and the web.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas. Excellent eye for detail. Strong analytical skills.
• Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Google Sketch up, Photoshop, Corel Draw etc.)
