Job Type, Full Time Employment
We are looking for a Grant Writer & Fundraiser who will be responsible for researching available grant opportunities for the organisation and writing compelling grant proposals to acquire funding.
Responsibilities
Identify grant funding opportunities.
Write, submit and manage grant proposals based on the company’s funding requirements.
Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents.
Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
Location- Lagos, Nigeria / Remote work option available
Salary- Base pay plus commission
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, creative writing or a related area.
A Master’s degree (gives an added advantage).
A minimum of 5 years working experience in grant writing.
Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the company.
Exceptional organisational and writing skills.
Excellent knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising process.
Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources.
Proficient in MS Office.
Good management skills.
