    Graduate Trainee (Sales & Client Relations)

    Job Summary

    As a Graduate Trainee in Sales & Client Relations, you will learn to identify, engage, and onboard potential new clients for Alpha & Jam’s advertising services. You will be trained to build strong client relationships, support sales pitches, and contribute to driving sales growth across Africa.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Support the achievement of sales targets for Alpha & Jam advertising assets nationwide.
    • Assist in preparing sales reports and analysis for the Commercial Manager.
    • Support onboarding of new clients and maintain contact with existing clients for new campaign opportunities.
    • Learn and apply effective sales and marketing techniques to attract new business.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Research and contact businesses and potential clients to generate leads.
    • Assist in maintaining positive relationships with existing clients, ensuring they are informed about available advertising opportunities.
    • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell under the guidance of senior team members.
    • Support management of key client accounts.
    • Work with the sales team to meet monthly revenue targets.
    • Participate in preparing and delivering sales presentations to prospective clients.
    • Provide support to clients during the sales process to ensure satisfaction.
    • Submit daily or weekly reports of sales activities to the Senior Sales Manager and Commercial Manager.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or any related field.
    • 0–1-year relevant experience or internship in sales, client relations, or marketing is an advantage.
    • Strong interest in advertising, media, and client management.

    Skills/Competencies

    • Eagerness to learn about advertising and marketing techniques.
    • Good research and analytical skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Basic negotiation and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Self-motivated and open to feedback and training.
