Graduate Architect at Cemex Portals

Job Details

• Create and modify architectural drawings using software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, lumion or SketchUp.
• Perform basic segments of architectural projects
• Assist in general preparation of design and construction documents, including modelling
• Reviewing blueprints and other design documents to ensure they meet code requirements
• Communicating with clients, contractors and other architects to ensure that projects are completed on time
• Develop an understanding of and adherence to industry procedures and protocols
• Provide support for any tasks required for the successful completion of the project.
• Provide support for any task required to keep office running smoothly (i.e. Printing, ordering office supplies, ordering material, etc)
• Engage in collaborative brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas
• Conducting site inspections to assess the quality of work performed by contractors
• Preparing drawings and working with engineers to design new buildings or remodel existing structures
• Creating detailed plans for new construction projects based on client specifications
• Develop effective presentation skills by participating in internal design reviews and client presentations, communicating design concepts clearly and persuasively.
