Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons in History, Government, and Current Affairs.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Foster critical thinking, debate, and civic engagement through interactive teaching methods.
• Assess student performance and adapt instruction to support diverse learning needs.
• Encourage inquiry-based learning and active classroom participation.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and school leadership.
• Participate in professional development activities and school initiatives.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by school management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
• Valid Teaching Certification (TRCN certification is required)
• Teaching apprenticeship experience is an added advantage
• Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of digital learning tools and modern teaching methodologies
• Ability to effectively use interactive/smart boards
• Strong 21st-century teaching skills, including digital literacy, collaboration, and critical thinking
• Excellent communication, creativity, patience, and multitasking abilities.
