Are you a seasoned Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Lawyer ready for your next challenge? Look no further! We’re on the hunt for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior GRC Lawyer.
Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or JD) from an accredited institution and active bar membership. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 11 years of experience as a Governance, Risk, and Compliance lawyer. Preferably within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in compliance, risk management, or governance.
Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
Strong time and project management abilities.
Commercial astuteness with a keen understanding of current affairs and developments in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Legal Opinion/Document Development.
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
Negotiation and business development skills.
Awareness or interest in new technologies and some level of use or adoption.
Strong ethics, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
