XEJet is seeking an exceptional and commercially driven professional to lead XEJet Express, our fast-growing express and regional airline business in Nigeria.
This is a strategic leadership role for a results-oriented executive with proven experience in airline operations, commercial growth, and revenue optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitability, expanding market presence, and positioning XEJet Express as a leading player in the value/express aviation segment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall business strategy and growth agenda for XEJet Express
Drive passenger revenue through route expansion, pricing optimization, and improved load factors
Develop ancillary revenue streams and strengthen commercial partnerships
Oversee operational performance, efficiency, and customer experience
Manage financial targets, budgets, and profitability metrics
Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and stakeholder engagement
Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
Minimum of 7–10 years’ aviation industry experience
At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity
Strong background in airline commercial management, route development, and revenue generation
Solid understanding of low-cost/express airline business models
In-depth knowledge of NCAA regulations and international aviation standards
