We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially focused professional to lead our Cargo Business in Nigeria.
The ideal candidate should be a strategic leader with proven expertise in air cargo, logistics, and revenue generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our cargo operations, driving profitability, and positioning the cargo unit as a major contributor to the airline’s overall growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to grow cargo revenue and market share
Identify and secure new business opportunities across domestic, regional, and international markets
Build strong partnerships with freight forwarders, exporters, logistics companies, and government agencies
Oversee end-to-end cargo operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance
Optimize pricing, capacity utilization, and service offerings
Drive financial performance, cost control, and profitability
Lead and develop a high-performing cargo team
Requirements
Extensive experience in air cargo, logistics, or freight operations
Proven success in revenue generation and business development
Strong understanding of NCAA, ICAO, and IATA cargo regulations
Demonstrated leadership in operational and commercial management
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills
