General Manager, Business Development & Research at Leadership Newspaper

Responsibilities

• Creation and management of business, marketing databases especially as it concerns advertisements, special projects, partnerships, special events, business growth opportunities online
• Ability to meet quarterly and annual revenue / sales targets
• Coordination of advertisements and all special business units of the company to deliver objectives set by Management / Board
• Planning, coordination and management of all business-related performance systems
• Strategic advice to Management and Board on risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• First Degree or HND (preferably 2nd Class Upper Division) in any discipline with demonstrable interest in research
• At least 10 years cognate experience and familiarity with media industry
• Must possess high-level contacts
• Ability to work with targets and manage teams / resources across the country
• Proven record in customer relations management and processes.
