Job Summary

• Our client is recruiting to fill the role of an Industrial Gas Plant Manager.
• The Industrial Gas Plant Manager oversees all operations at the industrial gas plant, including production, maintenance, safety, and staff management.
• This role ensures optimal efficiency, quality control, regulatory compliance, and adherence to safety standards while meeting production and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:

• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth, uninterrupted production processes.
• Monitor and optimize production metrics to meet established goals in efficiency, output, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and compliance.

Maintenance and Equipment:

• Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure plant equipment is in excellent working condition.
• Schedule and oversee repairs or replacements, minimizing downtime and maximizing asset longevity.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, fostering a safe workplace.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and supervise plant personnel, ensuring high performance and morale.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

• Oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished products, maintaining optimal stock levels to prevent delays.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and monitor quality control measures, ensuring products meet company and industry standards.
• Address quality issues promptly, initiating process improvements where necessary.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the plant’s budget, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
• Prepare financial reports, production summaries, and other performance metrics for executive review.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements, focusing on increasing productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
