Functional QA Engineer - Nigeria Localization at Carlcare Development

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end product functional testing processes, includiing test case design, execution, defect tracking (closed-loop in Jira), and report generation.
• Conduct user experience testing and provide product optimizatioIn suggestions based on local user habits.
• Perform specialized testing such as competitive product analysisand network latency testing.
• Identify localization issues in language usage to ensure terminology aligns with Hausa and Nigerian English contexts.
• Collaborate with Chinese teams to execute overseas testing taskks and drive issue resolution

Requirements

• BSc in any discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields is an added advantage).
• 0-2 experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work with spreadsheets.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Language proficiency:

• Fluent in English (working language).
• Proficient in Hausa and Nigerian localized English.
