    Full Stack PHP Developer

    Join a team of passionate #phpdevelopers, all with diverse interests, working in a relaxed and highly productive environment.

    The ideal candidate will efficiently and quickly write PHP in a timely and scalable way in order to improve the code-base of Buffer's products in meaningful ways. This candidate will be able to test the code and make adjustments where necessary. They should also be experience in contributing to the whole software design lifecycle. 

    Responsibilities

    • Write clean, well-designed code on PHP
    • Troubleshoot and test core product software to ensure strong optimization
    • Perform code verification and determine recommendations for adaptation.
    • Implement new features and optimize existing ones from controller-level to UI
    • Analyze processes in order to provide solutions.
    • Development or TDD (Technical design document) reporting
    • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
    • At least 5 years professional PHP software development experience
    • Passion for best design and coding practices
    • Strong knowledge of relational databases, tools and PHP skills
    • Highly skilled and experienced in PHP frameworks such as Laravel etc.
    • Experience in dealing with large scale web site that receive millions of visits per day.
    • Strong knowledge with dealing large system including logging and reporting.
    • MVC Frameworks: Laravel, and Zend
    • Excellent analysis, problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Experience with version control repositories (GIT) is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
    • Ability to deal with constantly changing technical priorities.
    • OOP
    • Knowledge of API's and RESTful web services
    • Strong/Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 skills, jQuery/JavaScript
    • Confluence, Jira and Bitbucket
    • Strong command of the English language.
