We are seeking an experienced Freight & Forwarding Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive efficiency across all shipping and clearing processes.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily freight and forwarding operations from shipment initiation to delivery
Manage import/export documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, agents, and government authorities
Monitor shipment timelines and resolve delays or operational issues
Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
Supervise and guide the operations team to meet performance targets
Maintain accurate records and provide operational reports.
Requirements
Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation
Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities effectively
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
