Forklift Operator at ICS Outsourcing Limited

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site Forklift Operator role based in Ikeja.
• The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and related material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stack goods within warehouses, loading bays, and production areas.
• Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment before use, following safety and handling procedures, organizing and labeling inventory, and ensuring materials are moved to the correct storage or dispatch locations.
• The role also involves working closely with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to meet daily targets, maintain clean and orderly work areas, and promptly report any equipment faults or safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory handling, and basic logistics practices.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including safe lifting, stacking, and handling procedures.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, manifests, and basic documentation with good attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid forklift operation certification or license, in line with local regulations.
• Previous experience as a forklift operator or in a warehouse/logistics environment is highly beneficial.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including weekends or overtime when operationally required.
