We are seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities, including planned, unplanned, and breakdown maintenance.
The role ensures smooth operations of mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
Handle breakdowns promptly and execute shutdown tasks.
Assemble, install, and align equipment as required.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend solutions.
Investigate equipment failures to diagnose problems.
Train technicians through on-the-job training (OJT).
Maintain safety, comply with HSE standards, and ensure good housekeeping (5S practices).
Requirements
Education: B.eng / B.Sc or HND in Mechyanical Engineering or related field.
Experience: 12-15 years in DRI/Beneficiation/Pellet Plant, with at least 4 years as a Foreman.
Skills:
Strong expertise in mechanical maintenance, hydraulic systems, troubleshooting, and alignments.
Ability to interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical procedures.
Experience in assembling/disassembling machines and inter-department coordination.
Good knowledge of safety protocols and maintenance procedures.
Competencies:
Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent technical knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.
