Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students food and nutrition principles, meal planning, and practical life skills
• Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum in Food and Nutrition/Home Economics
• Demonstrate and teach practical life skills, including food preparation, budgeting, and home management
•  Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
• Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Home Economics, Food and Nutrition, Education, or a related field
• Teaching certification/license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Advanced degrees or certifications in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or Nutrition (desirable)
• Hands-on experience in practical skills related to cooking, meal planning, sewing, or household management
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietetics, food preparation, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• TRCN Certification is an added advantage
