Working knowledge of computer-based operations tools like Jeppesen's Jet planner will be an added advantage

Job role
Manage safety and security in flight operations, and ensure compliance with standards and requirements of the NCAA
Supervise and control all flights, operational control functions and other associated activities on the shift
Update the daily flights in collaboration with the necessary units
Ensure that all necessary diplomatic and over-flight clearances are obtained to fly the commercial schedule
Monitor the progress of the daily flying schedule
Monitor network performance and participate in delay analysis
Anticipate flight disruptions and suggest ways to minimize the delays
Maintain close coordination with Maintenance Control regarding aircraft defects and scheduling of maintenance activities
Liaise with Organizations that are involved with the provision of services to, or whose service may affect Company operations
Verify the serviceability and availability of aerodrome/handling facilities
For service/customer disruption incidents whilst on-shift, shall record and collect aerodrome-related information necessary to support a thorough and accurate, post incident investigation
Obtain and disseminate the latest TAF/METAR reports to flight crew
