    Fleet Supervisor

    About The Opportunity

    • The purpose of this role is to ensure a cost driven, effective and highly efficient operation of assigned vehicles by maintaining a reliable and compliant fleet.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee and ensure assigned vehicles, adhere to routine vehicle inspection, scheduled maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal working condition.
    • Monitor and manage vehicle allocated diesel in compliance with set consumption ratio of 0.5liter/Km to control costs and improve overall diesel efficiency within assigned fleet.
    • Coordinate and manage the activities of drivers and motor mates. Frequent training and performance evaluation/grading of drivers.
    • Ensure that the assigned vehicle fleet are in good physical condition both interior and exterior (No dents, visible vehicle fleet code, number plate conspicuously displayed)
    • Monitoring drivers to ensure compliance to schedules, turnaround time (TAT) of DTFIs, DTCs and all deliveries and efficient usage of assigned fleet.
    • Ensure immediate retrieval of waybill from drivers after trip and uploading within 30mins after collection.
    • Ensure driver and motor mates comply with safety regulations within and outside the terminals. Proper usage of PPEs e.g. Reflective Vest, Safety Booths etc.
    • Fully utilize fleet management tools on the fleet software and tracking applications by updating data in a timely and accurate manner and monitoring fleet movement, idle time, diversion etc.
    • Timely response to external issues relating to assigned vehicle e.g. accident, arrest and ensure trucks are released by working with concerned external stakeholder(s) for timely resolution.
    • Collaborate with other departments such as Planning/Delivery optimization, clearing, port operations and terminal operations to ensure seamless timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

    Education and Experience:

    • A minimum of BSC qualification with at least five years of cognate experience
