Fleet Supervisor at Konga Online Shopping Limited

PURPOSE

• This role entails the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet, maintaining detailed records of company vehicles servicing and inspection and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. Responsible for selecting and maintaining vehicles in other to keep deliveries and distributions on schedule.

KEY DUTIES

• Assist in the recruitment of quality drivers by interviewing them
• Assign vehicles to the drivers
• Supervise the activities of drivers while driving company vehicles
• Training and retraining the drivers
• Supervises the movement of staff on official assignment
• Assigns drivers to staff when required
• Performs scheduled maintenance for company vehicles
• Ensures that all vehicle documents are intact
• Process new fuel cards as may be required
• Monitor fuel usage for all cars.
• Fuel card management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant mechanical knowledge
• Ability to manage a team of drivers
• Good Problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Customer Service Oriented
• Experience in driving (both automatic and manual) and knowledge of different vehicle issues
