Fleet Operations Manager at Amy Consulting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drawing up weekly/monthly operational planning schedules for the unit.
• Ensuring implementation of standard operational procedures for fleet management.
• Ensuring fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying current user trends.
• Ensuring use of fleet management software to monitor vehicle performance and cost.
• Monitoring and coordinating all activities of the fleet officers.
• Preparing and managing annual operations budget.
• Supervising maintenance of vehicles to reduce downtime due to repairs.
• Ensuring proper vehicle registration and documentation for all vehicles within the fleet.
• Streamlining and monitoring fuel purchase system with the use of Fuel Cards for all vehicles and drivers.
• Monitoring and ensuring fleet operations in compliance with government regulations.
• Collaborating with human resources to ensure addition of quality drivers to the fleet.
• Ensuring proper drivers management to prevent bad behavior among drivers and reduce high maintenance cost.
• Regularly monitoring fleet to avoid use of vehicles for unauthorized movements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 4 years experience managing large fleet of vehicles and drivers.
• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent).
