Fleet Officer at NOVO Car Rentals

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Schedule

• To maintain records on operations, maintenance, fuel use and costs for fleet vehicles.
• Schedule periodic visits to client/vehicle locations to check and review on-site activities of the drivers/vehicles.
• Schedule monthly meetings with the drivers under each account to discuss salient issues.
• Forward vehicle complaints as received from drivers to the maintenance unit for onward check and repair.
• Follow up with the maintenance team to ensure repairs are completed timely and reduce downtime of vehicles.
• Provide a replacement to cover for the period of repair for delayed vehicle repairs and ensure such vehicles are returned once repair is completed and certified okay.
• Ensure proper fuel management for all vehicles by reloading of fuel cards for all client vehicles as per approved fuel budget and ensuring availability of fuel for all vehicles at all times.
• Daily check of fuel portals to confirm fuel purchase as reported by the drivers and flagging of unauthorized usage of fuel cards when observed.
• Driver management.
• Participate in periodic driver’s training.
• Ensure proper and effective deployment of drivers to suitable locations at best cost management for the company.
• Report vehicle incidents and accidents to the QA unit for investigation
• Any other duties as assigned by executive management.

Qualifications & Required Skill Set

• B.Sc / HND qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in a related role.
• Excellent driving skills with at least 3 years active driving experience.
• Good understanding of, and usage of GPS tracking technology.
• Proper understanding of driver management.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent technical skills in vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
