JOB DESCRIPTION

• To see that all Filters adhere to safety rules.
• To make sure that the workshops are cleared of off cuts and wastes
• To make sure that disciplinary action is taken against one who defaults. 
• To make sure that jobs are properly planned out for Foremen/Charge-hand and filters daily.
• To take instructions from supervisors/production manager.
• To produce correct markings, cut, grand and fit pipes, plates etc.
• To be able to carry out required calculations.
• To adhere to all safety, quality, schedule requirements of fitting work.
• To be humble and willing to learn for self and others.              
• To ensure that work schedules/targets are achieved daily.
• To ensure that workers are well motivated.
• To ensure that there is proper and accurate record of workers attendance/man-hour/breakdowns.
• To ensure that disciplinary measures are strictly implemented.
• To ensure that Management directives are implemented promptly.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Ability to interprete structural drawing
• Ability to transfer a structural drawing to a metal plate
• Excellent welding ability
• ability to use various welding and fitting tools/equipments.
