Job Summary

• The Fitness Trainer is responsible for assessing clients’ fitness levels, creating customized workout plans, supervising training sessions, and ensuring a safe, motivating environment that promotes wellness and healthy living.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ physical condition, medical background and goals.
• Develop personalized fitness programs tailored to individual needs.
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and supervise workouts safely.
• Monitor and record clients’ progress and adjust routines as needed.
• Conduct group fitness classes and one-on-one sessions.
• Ensure proper use and cleanliness of gym equipment.
• Provide lifestyle, nutrition and posture guidance.
• Respond to emergencies and administer CPR/First Aid when necessary.
• Promote available fitness packages and encourage client retention.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation and hygiene standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Sports Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Fitness Trainer or similar role. (At least 2-3 years of experience)
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy and training methods.
• Ability to motivate clients and demonstrate proper form.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a positive, energetic attitude.
• Available for early/late shifts and weekends.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
