The Fitness Trainer is responsible for assessing clients’ fitness levels, creating customized workout plans, supervising training sessions, and ensuring a safe, motivating environment that promotes wellness and healthy living.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate clients’ physical condition, medical background and goals.
Develop personalized fitness programs tailored to individual needs.
Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and supervise workouts safely.
Monitor and record clients’ progress and adjust routines as needed.
Conduct group fitness classes and one-on-one sessions.
Ensure proper use and cleanliness of gym equipment.
Provide lifestyle, nutrition and posture guidance.
Respond to emergencies and administer CPR/First Aid when necessary.
Promote available fitness packages and encourage client retention.
Uphold all safety, sanitation and hygiene standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Sports Science or a related field.
Proven experience as a Fitness Trainer or similar role. (At least 2-3 years of experience)
Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy and training methods.
Ability to motivate clients and demonstrate proper form.
