Fine & Applied Art Teacher at Emerald Schools

Job Description

• Plan and present art displays and exhibitions designed to exhibit students’ work for the school and the community
• Participate in curriculum and other developmental programs, such as after school art club

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts
• Master's Degree in Fine Arts
• Must possess good knowledge of teaching methodologies.
• Must have at least three years teaching experience
• Must be computer literate with technology integration in teaching and learning
• Must possess excellent skills with students, parents and colleagues
• Must have abundant knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history,
• Demonstrate techniques in activities such as drawing and painting
• Understand a variety of “masters” techniques
• Knows and can apply elements of design and modern principles of art
• Knows the fundamentals and different approaches to drawing media technique
• Must possess good knowledge of teaching methodologies.
• Must have at least three years teaching experience
• Must be computer literate with technology integration in teaching and learning
• Must possess excellent skills with students, parents and colleagues.
