Financial Reporting Associate at Fluna

Job Role

• We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Finance Associate to lead financial reporting and planning at Fluna. If you have a strong mastery of Excel, are quick with numbers, and have knowledge of accounting principles, this role would be perfect for you!
• In addition, you will have the opportunity to work directly with investors together with the CEO, and be part of debt/equity fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning with C-suite and investor presentations
• Help prepare materials for board meetings and investor updates
• Lead due diligence processes by gathering and organizing financial documentation for potential investors
• Work directly with external stakeholders including investors, auditors, accountants and regulators
• Reconcile accounts and ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis at a top-tier audit firm, consulting firm or investment firm
• Startup experience or working at a high-growth startup is a plus.
