Financial Controller at Westingate Group

Responsibilities:​

• Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Conduct regular internal audits to assess financial controls and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency
• Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports
• Evaluate and enhance internal controls to mitigate financial risk
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial control
• Manage Cost Accounting, management Accounting, Account Receivable and Account Payable, financial Oversight, Control and Accountability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (BSc)
• Proven experience in financial control roles, with a minimum of 12 years
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
