Financial Assistant at Hoganguards Limited

Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of periodic Financial Statements. 
• Managing accounting transactions. 
• Reconciliation of bank statements. 
• Ensuring accuracy of financial records. 
• Ensuring all evidentiary documents are properly kept and filed. 
• Interfacing with clients to resolve financial dispute/reconciliation.
• Processing tax payments and returns. 
• Liaising with Regulatory authorities.
• Liaising with departmental heads feeding inputs to the department. 
• Budget forecast and performance preparation. 
• Coordination of activities within the department.

Qualification: Degree in Accounting or Finance Related courses (Minimum of second class upper division), AATWA or ACA is an added advantage

Job Experience: Minimum of 4 years in account related roles

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word). Knowledge of Accounting Software (Sage or QuickBooks)
• Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to proffer immediate solutions. 
• Good communication skills.
