Financial Accountant at KKON Technologies (KKONTech)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury support, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare timely management accounts.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls.
• Oversee fixed asset capitalization, asset registers, inventory controls, and reconciliations.
• Monitor CAPEX and OPEX against approved budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyse financial trends and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
• Ensure timely tax and statutory compliance, including VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE, pension, and other applicable obligations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior finance team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP, advanced Excel, and financial data analysis; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience in budgeting, financial modelling, reconciliations, and fixed asset and inventory management.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in the telecommunications, ISP, FTTH, or infrastructure industry is an advantage.
• Professional accounting certification and audit experience are added advantages.
