Finance Supervisor at Frazimex Engineering Limited

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable (Client and vendor invoices)
• Utilize relevant accounting software to carry out accounting functions
• Attend to account inquiries from internal and external sources.
• Ensure company financial obligations are articulated and presented for payment.
• Review incoming and outgoing invoices
• Prepare timely payroll and other financial commitments
• Prepare Bank and Cash Account Reconciliation.
• Provide Salary Payment Advice
• File monthly VAT accounts
• Prepare and pay statutory obligations.
• Maintain and review financial records
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations.
• Provide information for budget preparation to Line Manager
• Ensure adherence to projects budgetary controls and reporting
• Generate financial reports for review by regulatory authorities
• Handle any other assigned duties

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc. Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Chartered member of ICAN, ACCA or relevant financial body.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Finance
• Background knowledge of SAP and experience in the Oil and Gas or Engineering sector.
• Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation
• Ability to perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assist in assessing the financial health of the company.
• Ability to prepare quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
