Finance Operations Manager at Norrenberger Financial Group

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the management of long-term and short-term investment strategies.
• Liaise with counterparties such as Custodian, Registrars, Brokers, to ensure the smooth processing of transactions and reconciliation of position.
• Prepare and analyze daily/weekly/monthly operational reports and metrics including payment of approved fees and expenses.
• Work with the Finance and Compliance functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for investment funds & portfolios managed by the Company.
• Attend to and resolve queries from clients, regulators, trade counterparties.
• Oversee the reconciliations of accounts
• Oversee the approval of significant corporate expense and ensure all expenses are within budget and receipted where necessary.
• Reconcile monthly activities, generating year-end reports, and submitting same to management.
• Manage bank accounts to ensure sufficient liquid funds. 
• Daily reconciliation of all internal ledgers to ensure accuracy
• Keep records of all company’s fixed assets and ensuring industry standard is maintained.
• Review and recommend changes to the investment policies based on market conditions. 
• Prepare or monitor company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling.
• Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
• Support and participate in the department’s Strategic Plan activities. 
• Ensure prompt crediting of customers’ accounts as value is received.
• Ensure proper guidance, feedback and prompt treatment of clients requests. 
• Oversee fund valuation & price confirmation.
• Comply fully with the relevant Anti-Money Laundering regulations and report promptly any knowledge or suspicion of money laundering activities to the relevant authority

Requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or other related disciplines.
• ICAN, ACCA or similar professional qualification is required

KNOWLEDGE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years operation management experience in the Asset Management industry.
• Good knowledge of the Capital market and its operations.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.

• Good knowledge of operations management and investment processes, Outstanding organizational skills.
