Finance Officer at Trafalgar Associates Limited (Kwikpay Credit)

Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Summary:

A dynamic financial services Company providing quick and emergency Loans (Kwikpay Credit) to individuals and SME Businesses, based on Lagos Island, request for employment, hardworking, focused and result-oriented individuals for the vacant position of Finance Officer. 

The Finance Officer will work in the Finance Department responsible for financial transactions and activities of the organization. He/She will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Finance Officer will also provide support in the development of the organization’s budget and financial planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions: The Finance Officer will be responsible for recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions in the organization’s accounting system.
• Prepare financial reports: The Finance Officer will prepare and present financial reports to the Finance Manager and other stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Budgeting: The Finance Officer will assist in the development of the organization’s annual budget, and provide support in the ongoing monitoring and reporting of budget performance.
• Cash flow management: The Finance Officer will manage the organization’s cash flow and ensure that there are adequate funds to meet operational requirements.
• Compliance: The Finance Officer will ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations governing financial management.
• Financial analysis: The Finance Officer will conduct financial analysis to inform decision-making processes within the organization.
• Support audits: The Finance Officer will support the Finance Manager in preparing for internal and external audits.
• Other duties: The Finance Officer may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management.

Qualifications:

• A degree or Diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field.
•  At least 2 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
