Our organization is seeking to hire a finance officer who will be in charge of overseeing the financial transactions of the organization. He/she would be tasked with developing budgets, monitoring transactions and preparing financial reports.
Responsibilities
The finance officer would be responsible for:
Creating and implementing financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency.
Overseeing the preparation and planning of budgets.
Maintaining records and receipts for all daily transactions, ensuring financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and changes.
Contributing to financial audits while monitoring all bank deposits and payments.
Performing periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems while providing insights on the financial health of the organization
Preparing balance sheets and invoices.
Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
Assisting in developing relationships with external contacts such as auditors.
Skills/Academic Qualification
B.Sc. in accounting or related field, professional certification in accounting will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience is required.
Salary: N50,000 - N80,000 monthly
