Finance Manager at Total Data Limited

JOB OBJECTIVE(S)

• Provide strategic financial direction, planning, implementation, and management of all financial activities of Total Data Limited
• As the key member of the executive management team, the Finance Manager interacts with senior stakeholders and other members of a company
• Ensure that approved expenses are aligned with the overall budget
• Champion cost leadership and operational efficiency 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance team
• Providing strategic recommendations to the MD, Management Team and Board of Directors
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning
• Providing commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets.
• Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the company
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
• Reviewing all formal finance related procedures
• Monitor budget and provide cost control to ensure compliance with TDL’s policies
• Ensure monthly payment of staff salaries
• Ensure clients reimburse monthly payroll amounts in line with SLA 
• Ensure prompt and accurate remittance of statutory deductions
• Liaise with external parties such as TDL’s bankers, tax authorities, financial consultants, etc 
• Co-ordinate payment to vendors in adherence to SLAs and the company’s procedure/policies.
• Management of office asset register
• Other official tasks assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education  

• Minimum Education:   Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Economics
• Higher degrees/ Professional certifications (MBA, ACA, ACCA)

Experience  

• Minimum experience – 10 years’ experience in the finance industry and proven leadership and management experience in the workplace.
