Finance Manager at Sujimoto Construction Limited

• We are seeking an experienced and analytical Finance Manager to lead, manage a team, and oversee all financial operations, support strategic decision-making, and ensure the financial health of the organization. He/She must have strong people management skills, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and managing day-to-day financial activities while providing insights that drive business performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Lead and manage the finance team.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to management.
• Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Present financial results and KPIs to senior leadership.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
• Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and ensure optimal working capital levels.
• Oversee banking relationships and support financing activities.
• Implement controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risks.
• Enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement internal controls and ensure adherence across the organization.
• Lead or support automation and digital transformation initiatives in finance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Strong people management skills
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning systems.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
