Finance Manager at Pedabo (Tax, Audit, Advisory)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to ensure effective financial management.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimising the impact of variances.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights to the executive team.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with other departments to support project financial planning and cost management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes as a key member of the leadership team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree or CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance management, with a focus on the construction industry.
• Proven track record of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in financial software and tools; experience with ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
