Finance Manager at Ngcom Network Solutions Ltd

Job Objectives:

We are looking to hire a finance manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills who will work with the accounts to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures as well as accounting international standards.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
• Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
• Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.
• Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Validate all financial data in the company's financial software to ensure accuracy.
• Establish proper filing system for financial documents to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
• Ensure the safe custody of checkbooks and receipt vouchers in compliance with the company's financial policies and procedures.
• Partner closely with financials statement line-item owners and business partners from various departments.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Day-to-day responsibility for the balance sheet ensuring that all items are understood and any risks are managed appropriately (including developing and implementing controls and month end balance sheet reconciliations).
• Business partnering with the Commercial teams to ensure that new propositions are properly planned for, and processes are prepared in advance of any new launches.
• Monthly management reporting to key stakeholders on New Business streams, including preparation of financial analysis including commentary for senior management.
• Ad hoc projects as deemed necessary to support the business

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, finance or related field
• 3-4 years’ Experience in Accounting.
• General ledger accounting knowledge and experience with accounting systems.
• Excellent and practical knowledge/usage of account applications(SAGE).
• Excellent Knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook especially in Excel and any relevant data analysis tool).
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude.
• High attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a good business judgment.
