Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic financial manager In the Marine Industry to join our executive team. As financial manager, you will be responsible for leading our financial strategy, managing our financial operations, and providing strategic guidance to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
• Lead and manage the finance team, including financial planning, accounting, and treasury functions.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
• Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and guidance on financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure business continuity and stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA is required
• Proven experience in financial management or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Experience in strategic planning and execution of financial processes
