    Finance Manager

    Job Code: OM-FM-042-01

    Job Description

    • The Finance Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance & accounting activities of the organization.
    • The position holder will have direct responsibility for managing accounting, receivables, payables, payroll, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial statements.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for month-end close and production of financial statements including reconciliation of accounts and posting of journal entries.
    • Oversee the monthly billing processes including the generation of monthly statements, collections and receipts.
    • Maintain the organization’s fixed asset inventory and ensure assets are tracked and entered into financial systems.
    • Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll and ensure that all benefits are accrued and paid accurately.
    • Primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and expense reimbursement.
    • Prepare monthly financial trends and forecasts for management and analyse results for recommendations to management on how to improve financial results.
    • Manage relationships with vendors and ensure accounts payable are processed timely.
    • Oversee the budget process for multiple departments and offices and coordinate the preparation of the annual budgets.
    • Supervise other accounting staff.
    • Evaluates and advises on the financial impact of long-range strategic plans.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with executive and management teams to identify additional needs and business solutions.
    • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial and business performance.
    • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place

    Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Attributed Skills

    • Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related fields. Possession of the CFA certificate will be a plus.
    • 8 - 10 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
    • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
    • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
    • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
