    Finance Manager

    Role Summary / Key Functions

    • The Finance Manager executes primary daily accounting and financial management activities and generates the various reports required by management for tactical and strategic decision-making.

    Key Functions include:

    • Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts / reports.
    • Budget preparation and financial forecasts.
    • Implement and manage financial management policies in compliance with established internal controls and accounting practice standards, such as IFRS, lAS, GAAP, etc. Prompt payout of winnings to agents / stakers.
    • Ensure prompt reconciliation of all accounts with the banks, agents and other third parties.
    • Ensure timely reporting and remittance of taxes and other statutory payments to the relevant tax authorities and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, etc.

    Reporting Line:

    • The Finance Manager, a member of the executive management and reports to the CEO, who is an expatriate.

    Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields.
    • Must be a member of a recognized professional accounting body such as ACCA, ICAN, ANAN, CIMA, etc.
    • Minimum of 10 years post-graduation experience, out of which at least five years must be within the industry; and at least five years managerial experience.
    • Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver good results, tech-savvy and good working knowledge of accounting software (especially those used in the industry) are distinguishing required competencies.
    • Good working knowledge of Excel above intermediate levels.

    Remuneration

    • Remuneration is highly robust and comparable to what is obtainable within the top echelon of the industry.
