• The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with Executive Management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner and decision-maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for annual budgets and the financial planning process, while determining the effectiveness of current and prospective service delivery in the organisation
• Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the organisation, including but not limited to: organisational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, to include development and monitoring of organisational financial commitments.
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organisation and guarantee the integrity of financial transactions, as well as implement a robust corporate system
• Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings as applicable and prepare necessary submissions
• Actively monitor all banking relationships end-to-end (i.e. lodgment, salary payments etc.) and activities to include analysis of general bank statements to ensure adequate cash inflow to meet the organisation's needs.
• Oversee the production of monthly business/financial budget & reports, including reconciliations with statutory agencies, as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for the management and Board.
• Supervise all month-end closing financial activities, provide daily cash positions, including all supplier/ vendor account reconciliations.
• Responsible for all income structure, monthly bank reconciliations across the board, process Assurance and Compliance.
• Responsible for accurate preparation of monthly salaries to include Payroll audit (Pre and post) & review all Pension & Tax remittance, in line with international standards.
• Actively oversee all accounts payable & accounts receivable systems to ensure accurate records of all monies, to include effective liaison with other departments and ensure accurate data is obtained for financial reports.
• Responsible for monthly invoicing to all clients, documentation & maintenance of all financial files & records, maintenance of all systems of internal control to safeguard the financial assets of the organisation & guarantee the integrity of all financial transactions.
• Oversee business insurance plans, general internal audit management, and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Finance or related field 9 years of relevant experience
• Professional Certification, ICAN, ACCA
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Detail-oriented and analytical
