Finance Lead - Treasury at Seven Up Bottling Company

Job Summary

This role will support the organization’s cash management, banking operations, liquidity planning, and financial risk management activities.

Job Details

Treasury Postings & Ledger Management

• Prepare and post treasury-related journal entries accurately and on a timely basis.
• Reconcile treasury and general ledger accounts and resolve identified discrepancies.
• Prepare periodic treasury and financial reports for internal and external use.
• Assist with periodic audits by providing required treasury documentation, schedules, and information.

Cash Flow Forecasting & Liquidity Management

• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor actual cash flows against forecast.
• Oversee daily cash management to ensure adequate liquidity for operational requirements.
• Manage short-term and long-term funding requirements in line with the organisation\'s cash flow needs.
• Invest idle cash in accordance with approved investment policies and guidelines.

Trade Transactions & Foreign Exchange (FX)

• Manage treasury-related trade transactions and ensure timely processing and settlement.
• Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposures and associated risks.
• Ensure FX transactions are conducted in accordance with approved policies, limits, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of developments in foreign exchange markets, treasury practices, and applicable regulations.

Debt & Financial Risk Management

• Negotiate favourable terms for credit facilities, loans, and other financing arrangements.
• Monitor compliance with bank covenants, loan agreements, and other financing conditions.
• Manage the organisation\'s borrowing portfolio and support effective debt utilisation and repayment planning.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks arising from borrowing, liquidity, interest rates, and foreign exchange exposures.

Bank Relationship Management & Governance

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all treasury-related inquiries and banking matters.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Oversee banking relationships, account administration, and related treasury activities.
• Ensure compliance with banking requirements, internal treasury policies, and applicable financial regulations.
• Stay abreast of changes in treasury and finance best practices, regulatory requirements, and banking practices.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND/BSC with 5 years+ relevant treasury accounting experience
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Suite/SAP
• Professional certification is a plus
