Finance Intern at Talenture

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly reports
• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers and filing systems
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with payroll processing and expense management when required
• Provide support during audits and compliance checks
• Assist with preparation and processing of invoices, receipts and payment vouchers
• Record financial transactions and update accounting spreadsheets or software
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records under supervision
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Assist with expense tracking and verification of supporting documents
• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules when required
• Support month-end and year-end accounting activities
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate timely replenishment
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree in Accounting, or Accountancy (current NYSC corp member or just concluded NYSC)
• Foundational knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
• Comfort with spreadsheets and accounting software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
• Willingness to learn and take on ad-hoc finance projects
