Finance Intern at Revent Technologies Limited

Purpose

• We have a need for a highly motivated and analytical finance intern to support our finance team. The intern will gain practical experience in various financial functions, including Accounts Payable and Receivable, Tax Compliance practices, Account Reporting, and Financial Analysis. They will work closely with experienced professionals to learn industry best practices and contribute to the overall financial operations of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Process payment, receipts and invoices under supervision
• Timely compliance and remittance of statutory deductions VAT, WHT, PAYE
• Reconciliation of bank, intercompany activities and identifying discrepancies.
• Conduct research on market trends, competitors, or investment opportunities.
• Prepare finance presentations and reports.
• Organize and maintain financial documents for audits.
• Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned.
• Posting of daily transactions
• Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.

Skills Required

•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word
• Understanding of financial principles, including general ledger, journal entries, and accruals.
• Experience with gathering data and writing concise reports.

Qualifications Required

• Education: Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• NYSC: Currently Serving or about to serve
