Finance Intern at Norrenberger Financial Group

The NYSC Finance Intern will support the Finance team in carrying out day-to-day financial and administrative activities while gaining practical experience in corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and treasury operations. The role provides an opportunity to develop technical and professional skills in a dynamic work environment.

Job Details

• Assist with daily accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and post accounting entries under supervision.
• Support the processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Prepare schedules and working papers for audits and statutory reporting.
• Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking departmental expenditures.

Requirements

• Applicant must be a serving Corps Member.
• Applicant MUST possess a minimum of a second-class lower in Economics, or a related field.
• Can prioritize tasks and pay strict attention to detail.
• Interest in building a career in the Financial Sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of Equities, Bonds, or the Capital Market.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
• The candidate should possess good communication skills.
