Job Summary

• The Finance Associate supports the financial operations of the team by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• This role contributes to accurate record-keeping, budgeting, and financial planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor budgets and track variances against actual spending
• Support audits and ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy
• Assist in forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a finance or accounting role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
