The Finance Associate supports the financial operations of the team by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
This role contributes to accurate record-keeping, budgeting, and financial planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Record and reconcile financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Monitor budgets and track variances against actual spending
Support audits and ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy
Assist in forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a finance or accounting role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Knowledge of Nigerian tax and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
