We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Associate to support the preparation of financial and management reports for the Group’s strategic business units.
The role includes assisting with cashflow management, cost efficiency, and administrative support to the CFO.
The successful candidate will also assume delegated finance coordination duties during the CFO’s absence, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across the Group.
Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management and financial accounting statements and reports for strategic business units in the Group.
Providing effective support to enhance cashflow management efficiency and taking necessary actions that would minimize operational costs and maximize the firm’s overall efficiency and profitability.
Providing effective administrative support to the CFO in the day-to-day discharge of the administrative functions of the Finance unit.
You will be required to provide an assistant role to the Chief Finance Officer and carry out the CFO’s supervisory and coordinating roles in the Finance functions of the Group whenever the CFO is on vacation or unavailable for certain reasons. This role shall include ensuring the proper preparation of periodic financial statements for all companies under the Group, including all management reporting requirements.
Requirements
A minimum of a BSc in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Ability to lead from the front.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance, consulting experience is an added advantage
