As a Finance Assistant at Danuwa Empowerment Foundation, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance team to ensure the effective financial management of the organization. Your responsibilities will involve assisting in various financial tasks, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
Assist in processing financial transactions, including payments, invoices, and expense reports.
Help in maintaining financial records and ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
Assist in reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flows.
Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Assist in monitoring financial compliance and adherence to relevant regulations and policies.
Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing and organizing financial documents.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial documentation and reporting for projects and programs.
Contribute to financial analysis and data interpretation as required.
Assist in preparing financial documentation for audits and reviews.
Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines in all financial activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in finance or accounting is desirable but not mandatory.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive financial information.
