    Finance and Operations Manager

    Job Summary

    The Finance and Operations Manager will oversee the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This role combines strategic financial management with hands-on operational leadership to ensure sound decision-making, cost control, resource optimization, and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of making cross-departmental performance improvements.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA, CPA, or MBA).
    • Minimum of 5–8 years progressive experience in finance, accounting, or operations management roles.
    • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and operational process improvement.
    • Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial software, and data analytics tools.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards and company policies.
    • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
    • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and external partners.
    • Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
    • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.
    • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
    • Coordinate procurement, logistics, and supply chain activities to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
    • Monitor production, inventory, and resource utilization (for FMCG/manufacturing sectors).
    • Collaborate with department heads to improve workflow, productivity, and profitability.
    • Lead operational risk management and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
    • Support the executive team in developing and executing strategic plans.
    • Drive process automation and digital transformation across finance and operations.
    • Provide financial insights to support business growth, expansion, and investment strategies.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop team members in both finance and operations functions.
