Job Overview
The Financial Analyst supports the Corporate Finance team in evaluating investment opportunities, developing financial models, conducting due diligence, and delivering strategic insights across private equity and project finance portfolios. This role also plays a key part in ensuring compliance with internal controls, risk management policies, and regulatory frameworks.
Job Responsibilities
Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence
- Assist in the review and analysis of new investment opportunities, including financial, commercial, and operational assessments.
- Support the due diligence process by gathering and validating data, identifying risks, and contributing to investment memos and presentations.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking analysis to support investment decisions.
Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Build, update, and maintain robust financial models for valuation, scenario planning, and return analysis.
- Support stress testing, cash flow forecasting, and financial projections for both new and existing investments.
- Analyze portfolio company performance and provide recommendations for value optimization.
Strategic Insights & Portfolio Support
- Generate reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to the Head of Corporate Finance and other stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and macroeconomic indicators relevant to portfolio performance.
- Assist in developing pitch materials, investor reports, and board-level presentations.
Risk & Compliance
- Support the implementation of internal controls, financial governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Identify and escalate potential financial or operational risks during analysis and due diligence.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory standards, corporate policies, and audit requirements.
Required skills and qualifications

ii. Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Relevant certifications such as CFA Level I or ACCA in progress/completed is an advantage.
- 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
- Proficiency in Excel-based financial modelling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
